1 – Basic Information About Feng Shui
🪷 What is Feng Shui?
Feng Shui is the Ancient East Asian Art of Space Arrangement that teaches how to organize indoor and outdoor spaces so that they promote human life and success. When human environments have beauty, harmony and flow, life becomes easier and more prosperous.
🪷 How old is Feng Shui?
The practices that form part of Feng Shui today started several thousands of years ago.
Feng Shui as an art is about 4,000 years old, but the term Feng Shui wasn’t coined until around 200 BC, 2200 years ago.
🪷 What Does Feng Shui Mean?
The word “Feng” means “wind,” and the word “Shui” means “water.” Together, “wind and water.”
The word “wind” represents the spiritual currents of life.
The word “water” represents the earthly currents of life.
2 – The Three Main Ways to Practice Feng Shui
How many ways of practicing Feng Shui are there?
The most important decision you will make on your path to become a Feng Shui Consultant is to choose the right school and teacher.
There are numerous schools of Feng Shui out there, but they all fall within only three ways to practice Feng Shui.

One way to practice Feng Shui, the one that has become more extended all around the world, is to use astrology, numerology and the compass directions to find out “positive” and “negative” directions for each person. Then consultants try to organize the spaces so people avoid their negative directions and seek their positive directions.
This type of Feng Shui has translated poorly to Western culture, where most people become obsessed with their “negative directions” to the point of avoiding the rooms or areas located in those directions, letting them become neglected and cluttered. Their recommendations often result in spaces that look bizarre instead of amazing!
If you train with me, you won’t be making people afraid of their own homes, and their homes won’t end up looking weird!
☯ Feng Shui as a Buddhist Practice (Black Hat School)
Another way to practice Feng Shui, which has become really popular in the United States is what is known as “Black Hat” or “Black Sect” Feng Shui.
The full name of this school is Black Hat Buddhist Tantric Sect of Feng Shui. Followers of this school have a grand master and use metaphysical Buddhist practices, prayer and ceremonies to make decisions about space arrangement.
Proponents of Black Hat School use as “Feng Shui cures” symbols from Asian culture and the Buddhist religion that mesh poorly with our Western design and lifestyle.

Feng Shui is one of the oldest healing arts in the planet.
There are five branches of Ancient Chinese Medicine. These are:
Acupuncture, Qi-Gong, Chinese Massage, Herbalism, and Feng Shui.
We practice Feng Shui as one of the branches of Ancient Chinese Medicine. We use the same nine principles of healing that are used for all these arts: Tao, Yin Yang, Chi, Rhythm, Five Elements, Six True Words, Seven Chakras, Eight Life Areas, and the Magic Square. We help you become a Feng Shui Consultant who is versed in this ancient knowledge.

Our Story and Lineage
- Feng Shui, as we practice it, is deeply rooted in a lineage that survived the successive Chinese revolutions, which sought to erase the spiritual aspects of Ancient Chinese Medicine.
- Moni’s mentor was part of a school of ACM that fled persecution, preserving the purest form of Feng Shui knowledge, passed down directly from master to student, often without the aid of books. This authentic knowledge, free from the confusion that many modern publications have introduced, is what we offer.
